The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Women held a scientific symposium entitled (The Iraqi culture post-Coronavirus period) in coordination with a number of professors concerned with the Iraqi culture. This event witnessed the presentation of a number of working papers, including several selected literature that addressed life the period post-Covid19 in the country and the initiatives adopted by the ministry of culture, the challenges faced by people, visions, programs and repercussions of the pandemic on the goals of sustainable development in Iraq.
The participants concluded with several recommendations, the most important of which was to work to bridge the link between our academic and cultural institutions represented by the Iraqi Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, to activate the role of the professors in the development of cultural awareness, facing crises that threaten the values of the lives and future of young people, work to monitor and document the Iraqi literary achievement in light of the pandemic, as well as increasing the role of the Iraqi intellectual in promoting communities in this regard.
