The Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad and in the presence of a number of professors and researchers has organized a workshop entitled (Kemal Khocaoglu and his impact on the translation of Ottoman documents) that was delivered by Prof. Dr. Riad Said Latif.

The lecturer highlighted two points of view, the first related to the life of this translator, his biography and scientific career related to the translation of scientific books and documents in the Ottoman archives of the Turkish Prime Minister in Istanbul, while the second idea is related to the Ottoman archiving and the importance and number of documents, especially that of Arab countries, including Iraq. Then he also stressed the importance of electronic archive of information so as to be available for researchers.
