The Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad held its regular meeting with the start of the new academic year, in the presence of its members. This session comes on the occasion of the launch of postgraduate studies for the academic year (2022-2023) for master’s and higher diploma degrees. The dean of the center Prof. Dr. Karim Hassan Alwan congratulated the faculty members and students, urging them to continue their scientific career in an appropriate way.
The members discussed the council’s agenda, including a number of scientific promotions, workshops and seminars that are to be held this year, as well as the dates of discussions for master’s and higher diploma students. It is noteworthy that the center has prepared all its administrative and scientific requirements to receive graduate students this year, as well as the rehabilitation of classrooms, maintenance of cooling and lighting devices, the GIS laboratory and others, in addition to following up the civil safety procedures at the center.
