The members of the Curriculum Committee at the College of Medicine held a meeting under the chairmanship of the dean, Prof. Dr. Ali Kamel al-Shalji, with the membership of his assistants and the Medical Education Committee, the Director of the Student Affairs Division for Undergraduate Studies. During the meeting, they discussed the outputs of the integrated system for graduates for the third year respectively in terms of the problems faced by those involved in the curriculum matters in light of the current developments, including the increase in the number of students and for all grades.
They also followed-up the rearrangement and distribution of theoretical and practical modules, hours of study for modules for all grades where they also agreed to organize a schedule of regular visits paid by the students to hospitals throughout the school year for clinical training purposes. They even recommended the establishment of a module for clinical diseases for students of the fourth stage, in commitment to the university’s controls and instructions.
