Prof. Dr. Bashar Hamed Abdullah, Prof. Dr. Fawaz Dawood Aswad and the postgraduate student Muhannad Lubnan Hatif from the college of dentistry at the University of Baghdad have published a scientific joint research paper entitled (A clinical and demographic analysis of oral Pemphigus Vulgaris: a retrospective cross-sectional study from 2001 to 2021). This came within the framework of the scientific advancement of research conducted by Iraqi scholars jointly in the field of dentistry where the study was published in Health Science Reports issued by John Wiley & Sons Inc. and listed in Scopus Q2 index. The research aimed to identify demographic data, clinical markers and diagnoses of patients with Pemphigus Vulgaris in Iraq during the period (2001-2021).
