Prof. Dr. Qais Qahtan Dawood, the director of the Student Activities Department at the presidency of the University of Baghdad, has headed a delegation of the university’s students and professors to offer their condolences to Imam Hussein (PBUH) in Karbala on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Master of the Martyrs and his immaculate family and companions.
The student funeral procession set off from the University of Baghdad towards the holy province of Karbala to visit the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine who died on the tenth of the month of Muharram al-Haram in 61 A.H. This visit comes as part of the annual visits made by the faculty members and employees of the University of Baghdad to convoy condolences in cooperation with the Youth Welfare Center in the holy province of Karbala.
