Prof. Dr. Taghreed Hashim al-Nour, a lecturer from the department of chemistry at the college of education for pure & applied sciences (Ibn Al-Haitham) and the President of the Iraqi Chapter of the American Chemical Society, has participated in the proceedings of the World Conference of Training the International Leaders Summit for the Middle East, Africa and Europe for 2022 held by the American Chemical Society held in the State of Qatar. The conference included a meeting of the heads of classes of this society, which included training on management of opportunities available for students globally, as well as the distribution of certificates of participation in the workshop as in the annexes and the workshops lasted for 3 days.

The President of the American Chemical Society also met Sir James Fraser Stoddart who is a British-American chemist and the winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2016, giving a scientific lecture explain the scientific research conducted in his laboratory, the latest scientific research he is working on nowadays, providing support and encouragement to other scientists and researchers in order to complete their scientific career and urge them to innovate at all levels. It is worth mentioning that the conference included the participation of four research papers presented by postgraduate students from the Iraqi chapterin the presence of scientists and researchers from different universities, namely the doctoral student Ali Jabbar Abbas al-Saray from the department of chemistry at the college of science of the University of Baghdad; the master student Salam Riad Razzaq from the department of chemistry at the college of education foe applied and pure sciences (Ibn Al-Haitham) of the University of Baghdad; the doctoral student Mohammed Riad Abdul Razzaq from the department of chemistry at the college of science at Mustansiriyah University and the doctoral student Amer Adnan Hassan from the department of chemistry at the college of science of Al-Nahrain University.
