Dean of the college of media urges professors to publish research in international journals

Prof. Dr. Ammar Taher, dean of the college of media at the University of Baghdad, has urged faculty members to upgrade their academic ranks through publishing research in global scientific journals inside and outside Iraq. He also stated that the college is keen to extend bridges of communication with colleges, institutions and bodies specialized in media and public relations, believing in the importance of integration and interaction with other parties in order to reach new visions and data that serve the march of the fourth authority in Iraq. The dean pointed to the serious steps taken at the present regarding the reformulation or updating curricula that are compatible with those studied in other countries, especially in the field of digital media, which has become a common, overlapping and effective element in the work of journalists, whether visual, audio or written mass media.
