Prof. Dr. Samira Naji Kazim, dean of the college of science for women at the University of Baghdad, has received the committee on scientific laboratories that is concerned with studying the requirements of scientific laboratories that should be supplied for a new building recently developed at the college. The committee was headed by Mrs. Nawal Abdul Hussein Sultan, director of the Laboratory Quality Division at the Quality Assurance Department and Assist. Prof. Dr. Luma Hassan Alwan.
The dean welcomed the distinguished members of the committee and highlighted the visions and directions followed by the deanship and heads of departments to develop the reality of labs and other facilities that would be in use by the postgraduate students of the coming academic year so as to assist our dear students at the practical level and the acquisition of field knowledge in biology, mathematics and chemistry. The committee was briefed on the latest rehabilitation work and equipment provided at all scientific departments in alignment with the standards and instructions of quality assurance. At the conclusion of their visit, the members of the committee made some valuable observations in order to raise the quality of laboratories and thanked the efforts made by the deanship to support scientific research in the country.
