Prof. Dr. Ali Kamel al-Shalji, dean of the college of medicine at the University of Baghdad has recently received the members of two university committees: the Laboratory Quality Committee and the Laboratory Development Committee to develop two electronic microscope laboratories (SEM & TEM). The visitors followed up the qualification process initiated by the college for all undergraduate and postgraduate studies’ laboratories in addition to a specialized lab of the research unit, in preparation for the new academic year (2022-2023).
The committee, which was chaired by Prof. Dr. Rana Thabet, the director of the Quality Assurance Department, also was received by the assistant dean for administrative affairs, Prof. Dr. Ameen Abdul Hassan, and the head of the Laboratory Quality Unit, the lecturer Dr. Zahra Qassim. The two committees praised the tireless efforts made by the two parties to develop its laboratories and develop sober scientific research pathways.
