The continuing education unit in cooperation with the department of industrial management at the college of administration and economics, has organized an online lecture entitled (Administrative Communication Skills in Government Institutions) presented by Dr. Fadila Salman Dawood, in which the participants stressed that communication is a process of production and transfer of information for the sake of exchange of ideas, opinions and feelings from one human being to another; with the aim of influencing others as well as creating a response, while administrative communication is the process of establishing common denominators through the movement of thoughts, feelings, etc. from one person to another or between groups of people. In other words, it is an exchange of facts, ideas, information and emotions that results in a common understanding.
Through such a communication process, the organization operates in a unified manner including its members in an ongoing process because the functions of the organization is something continuous, so in the absence of communication, the function of the organization will practically reach a complete breakpoint and the goal of communication becomes to provide information and alert to the mental and moral trends necessary for motivation, cooperation and job satisfaction. The results obtained from the communication process are directed towards getting a better job achievement with job satisfaction.
