His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazim Abdul Sahib, has recently issued a ministerial order for appointing 879 top graduates of the medical faculties in Iraq specialized in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing. This initiative came in implementation of the decision of the Council of Ministers No. 184 of 2022 that authorized the minister of higher education to appoint the first graduates of the medical group of the academic year (2020-2021), in compliance with his responsibilities and legal powers vested and also in coordination with the Federal Service Council and the Financial Audit Bureau.
It is noteworthy that the ministry of higher education has completed the necessary requirements in this regard through preparing lists of beneficiaries in cooperation with the ministries of finance and health to develop job grades and financial allocations covering eight hundred and seventy-nine job degrees for the educational formations covered by the aforementioned resolution. So for its part, the ministry of higher education and scientific research calls on those included in the appointment lists published on the official website of the ministry to proceed in accordance with the legal and administrative contexts within a maximum period of ten days in light of the Ministerial Order dated 25/8/2022.
