Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Adnan al-Kaabi, dean of the college of languages at the University of Baghdad has issued a book translated from Russian on the (Fate of man in the contemporary world: To understand our time) authored by Nikolai Berdyaev who was a Russian philosopher, theologian, and Christian existentialist that emphasized the existential spiritual significance of human freedom and the human character, as well as the founder of the original concept of the philosophy of freedom and the concept of the modern Middle Ages

The book consists of 181 pages divided into four chapters that included a critical reading of history, war as well as the human being’s destiny facing the new forces in the global life. The book ended with shedding light on the aristocratic principle of culture and the fate of the intellectual class, with the incompatibility between history and the fate of man himself that represents the tragedy of history, a hopeless tragedy within the confines of history itself, since history did not understand the super-personality even when history set subjective human goals for itself by crushing the human personality.
