The aim of the symposium is to introduce a guide to the standards of programmatic accreditation of law schools in Iraq, which was prepared by the Council for Improving the Quality of Education for the Colleges of Law formed by Ministerial Order No. 1255 in 25/3/2019, where this guide includes a seven-year scale to determine the extent to which the standards are applied or not or partially applied, according to eight criteria that can be based on the self-assessment of law schools. The professors reached at a number of recommendations; namely the need for applying these standards and to focus on providing and recording the necessary information in order to document activities, events and resolutions to get close as possible to the national programmatic accreditation.
