Prof. Dr. Neima Dahsh Farhan, the dean of the college of Islamic sciences, Dr. Arkan Rahim Jabr, the assistant dean for administrative affairs and a group of faculty members and postgraduate students have participated in the first preparatory session for the Conference of Orientalism and Imam Hussein (PBUH) held at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine under the slogan (Imam Hussein: universality and eternity). Dr. Neima Dahsh stated during his speech that the purpose of holding such conferences is to scrutinize the orientalist studies that shed light on the blessed renaissance of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and the Husseini issue as well as the need to focus on important aspects concerned with humanity.
