Prof. Dr. Ali Kamel al-Shalji, dean of the college of medicine at the University of Baghdad, accompanied by His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Hani al-Uqabi, and the Director of Ghazi al-Hariri Surgical Specialities Hospital, Dr. Laith Ali Mahmoud, has participated in the weekly multidisciplinary team (MDT) meeting for complex oncology held at the Hall of Ghazi Hariri Hospital in Baghdad Medical City.
It is noteworthy that four cases were presented and discussed during a set of lectures, including three cases of the Division of Neurological Surgery studied by Prof. Dr. Ali al-Shalaji, as follows: multiple brain tumor and cerebral Aneurysm, in addition to a case of the Division of Thoracic and Vascular Surgery that was studied by Dr. Muhannad Karim on the aortic tumor. It is worth mentioning that the scientific committee of this event was chaired by Prof. Dr. Thamer Muhsen with the membership of Prof. Dr. Safaa Rhiad and Prof. Dr. Saad Dakhil.
