A delegation from the college of engineering at the University of Warth Al-Anbia in the Holy Governorate of Karbala has visited the college of science to discuss the prospects of joint scientific and academic cooperation with the University of Baghdad as well as the possibility of signing an agreement of understanding that may enhance the educational process and twinning programs between the two sides in the field of computer engineering and science. The dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Abdul Razzaq reviewed during a meeting with the dean of the college of engineering, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hussein Hadi, certain matters related to scientific departments of both parties, their academic history, curricula and openness to international educational and research institutions with the aim of exchanging experiences.
The meeting, which was attended by the assistants dean for scientific and administrative affairs, head of the department of computer science who all expressed joint readiness to prepare the terms of a twinning program between the department of informatics and computer engineering after obtaining the relevant approvals from the presidency of the University of Baghdad, so as to provide diploma studies in cybersecurity, in addition to supervising graduation projects. The two sides then exchanged shields and appreciation certificates towards deepening academic relations with various universities at the local and international academic arena, which would reflect positively on their career.
