The Department of English at the College of Education for Women held its virtual student festival via the Zoom platform to review the activities of the students and professors at the department which centered on the national character and pride in the original Iraqi culture along with the academic, humanitarian and recreational character and in a way that serves the objectives of the festival in enhancing the confidence of students using the English language by providing diverse events in a fun and academic manner at the same time and developing independent creative thinking among students to transfer knowledge and ideas.
Also the festival also aimed to strengthen scientific and human relations between the students of the department and its professors despite the social distancing. The student festival represented diversity and success in the use of e-learning by providing the opportunity for students to present their creative abilities and study knowledge in such interesting initiatives.
