The Department of Astronomy and Space, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science held a training course entitled “SPSS Program for Statistical Analysis” in the presence of a number of students, faculty members and those concerned with writing scientific research and mathematics.
The course aimed to identify the statistical program SPSS, which is one of the most used statistical programs of researchers in various fields (medical, engineering, agricultural, and others) as an essential and indispensable tool for the analysis of various types of data of any size that ensures accuracy and speed in analysis. The course was headed by the Assist. Prof. Dr. Salima Sultan Salman and Wafa Abdul Amir Abbas from the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Branch at the College of Pharmacy, University of Baghdad, along with the participation of Assist. Prof. Ban Sabah from the Department of Astronomy and Space at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, included training on how to use the SPSS program with new orders, who all talked about the advantages of using this software characterized by the diversity of areas of work for researchers in various medical, scientific and humanities disciplines.
