Rector of the University of Baghdad concludes a joint cooperation agreement with two Chinese oil companies

Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has concluded recently a joint cooperation agreement with the ENOC and COSL Chinese Oil Companies, where he suggested a project to train Iraqi students and graduates of the department of petroleum engineering and that of the college of science for two months, and to recruit distinguished university students in oil companies. Also Dr. Munir al-Saadi pointed out that the Iraqi Oil Company will be managed by Iraqi staff in full after gaining the necessary expertise. Then the two sides agreed to establish a research laboratory carried out by these companies for the benefit of the University of Baghdad and to be used by undergraduate and postgraduate students that will be the nucleus for undertaking joint scientific research between the two parties.
