Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad, accompanied by his assistant administrative assistant, Prof. Dr. Sarmad Fouad al-Ansari, inspected the rehabilitation campaign taking place at al-Waziria Student Housing Complex in Baghdad. The rector was briefed on the details of current works and has directed to continuing the restoration process of halls and corridors of the housing complex that was neglected for years due to humidity and to transform it to a model residence place for our dear postgraduate students along with other buildings dedicated for the undergraduate students.
For his part, the assistant rector for administrative affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Sarmad Fouad also stressed that the treatments for the affected parts of the buildings should be accurate and detailed so that the engineering works can be carried out properly as a permanent solution for all related problems at this site. The director of the dormitories, Prof. Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, explained that the work plan will achieve a qualitative shift at the infrastructure level for the sake of creating a suitable housing environment for female students.
