The Maternal and Newborn Nursing Branch, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Nursing and the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science for Women, have organized an electronic awareness workshop on (Bacterial and fungal infections in women and how to prevent them) via the Google Meet service in the presence of a number of professors and undergraduate students.
This workshop was presented by the Lecturer Dr. Sarab Nasr Fadhil, Assist. Lecturer Suha Nasr Fadhil,and Assist. Lecturer Israa Amer from the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science for Women with the aim to identify the causes of bacterial and fungal infections and the factors causing them, as well as to identify the methods of diagnosis and educate women about how to prevent these infections, and discussed the different treatment methods for both types. In conclusion, the workshop’s attendees recommended that female teachers and students abide by the advice addressed to avoid infections, which if neglected without treatment, would become a major problem with serious implications for women’s lives.
