Symposium on harassment and preventive awareness at the college of physical education

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad has organized an awareness seminar entitled “Harassment and Preventive Awareness among University Students” in collaboration with the Satieshms Creative Team. The participants dealt with the problem or phenomenon of harassment, which is one of the serious problems in society, and the issue of harassment has recently received the attention of many media, academic and community circles and at all levels of social, economic and political, until it became part of the discourse of daily life in society. They also stressed the causes of harassment, gender and ways to address it, and the importance of preventive awareness to deter it, pointing out that the phenomenon of harassment began to invade societies under various pretexts such as emancipation, sophistication, equality and civilization, where one of the most important means to eliminate this phenomenon is to hold workshops and seminars to reduce this phenomenon as well as awareness campaigns in eliminating the phenomenon of harassment of all its kinds.
