Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim al-Qazzaz, dean of the college of science at the University of Baghdad has recently received the Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jawad al-Turaihi, in order to discuss means of promoting the sobriety and reputation of the college of science and its role in elevating the status of our university in particular and the higher education in the country in general.
The two sides addressed several matters related to the ways of scientific and research cooperation as well as updating curricula according to sober methodological standards that serve the educational process in various disciplines ultimately. For his part, Dr. Abdul Karim al-Qazzaz thanked and appreciated the efforts made by the chairman of the committee that would reflect positively in line with the goals that the Iraqi ministry of higher education and scientific research keen to develop towards attaining advanced rankings globally.
