The student from the college of engineering at the University of Baghdad, Rafid Abbas Abdul Hadi, has received the Tamayouz International Graduation Projects Award 2021 among the top 50 winners of this world’s largest annual international award for architectural graduation projects in the field of urban design, planning and landscape design to submit their graduation projects, along with the students: Omar Adel Nahir, Manar Abdul Hakim and Zainab Abdul Hussein who have received the excellence award for the top 100 graduation projects.
It is noteworthy that this Iraqi award is dedicated for architectural excellence in the country and it was founded by a number of Iraqi architects and academics outside Iraq aimed at supporting academic initiatives towards developing the skills and abilities of graduates to introduce the international architectural community to Iraqi talents, as well as to educate Iraqi citizens about the importance of Iraqi architectural heritage as well as continuously supporting the academic effort worldwide.
