Assist. Prof.Dr. Hassanein Ahmed, a faculty member from the college of dentistry at the University of Baghdad, has participated in the first advanced surgical oncology conference in Iraq with a research paper entitled: (Excellency of scalping forehead flap for the reconstruction after orbital exenteration). The aim of the research was how to compensate the shortfall after the surgical removal of the cancer of the eye orbit. It is noteworthy that this conference witnessed the presentation of a wide range of studies that addressed various medical disciplines through coordination with the ministries of higher education and scientific research, health and the Iraqi Society of Oncology Surgery to shed light on the latest methods for cancer treatments.
