Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad, has inspected recently the progress of final examinations for the current academic year taking place at the college of education for pure and applied sciences (Ibn al-Haitham), accompanied by the assistant rector for scientific affairs Prof. Dr. Marwan Abdul Hamid Ashour.
During his visit, the rector kept abreast of the nature of questions in alignment with the curriculum as well as the level of services provided for the students, in addition to the tasks accomplished by the members of exam committees where he asserted the need to abide by the ministerial instructions to ensure increased accuracy and speed of achievement. During the tour, Dr. Munir al-Saadi inspected the botanical garden of the department of biology dedicated to the collection, cultivation, preservation and display of an especially wide range of plants that represents a natural research environment for the professors and students of undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as well as some seminar halls and projects carried out by the department of engineering.
