The College of Education for Pure & Applied Sciences (Ibn al-Haitham) at the University of Baghdad got the second place in the University Tennis Championship for Female Students while the College of Media got the first place. The tournament was concluded at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, where the second-grade student of the department of mathematics (Ayat Rahim Mohammed Hafez) has represented the college.
The closing ceremony of the tournament was attended by the assistant rector for administrative affairs Prof. Dr. Sarmad Fouad Jaber, the dean of the college of physical education and sports sciences Prof. Dr. Sabah Qassim Khalaf, the director of student activities Assist. Prof. Dr. Sarmad Saeed, the Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Sadiq Dhiab, the head of the Theoretical Sciences Branch Prof. Dr. Luay Sami Rifaat and Secretary of the college’s council Assist. Prof. Dr. Farqad Abdul Jabbar, also the winners were honored with trophies and medals.
