The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Baghdad has organized a workshop entitled “Linguistic and Writing Heritage in Mesopotamia” that was delivered by the director of the center, Assist. Prof. Dr. Marwan Abdul Hamid Ashour. He addressed during his speech the history of writing in the civilization of Mesopotamia, its uses and phases as well as pointing out that the people used to write pure and human sciences on clay to record their legacy for the next generations.
