The Department of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science held a virtual workshop entitled “Work Ethics and Profession” with the participation of a number of students, professors and mentors from inside and outside the college. The aim of the workshop is to identify the ethics of the profession and work, which are important topics in the professional process and all institutions, whether professional, academic education, training qualification, etc., which calls for knowledge of these professional ethics and work in them, because they are the basic foundation in building different professional relationships in professional institutions, as well as their goal in knowing the concept of ethics of the profession and its importance in work and professional institutions.

The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Faisal Ghazi Mohammed who talked about work ethics that include standards or sets of modern values that govern the actions and behavior of individuals within the organization of the work and actions of the institution and the company or various work centers, indicating that functional institutions usually have a written “code of ethics” governing the standards of professional conduct expected of all in this area and the laws and regulations used by government departments to guide the behavior of work and its useful directions governing work ethics implicitly conduct that It is outside the control of the government, in order to escalate, upgrade and develop the work, overcome the negatives and obstacles that hinder progress and keep pace with modernity and developed countries.
