The Political Thought Branch at the College of Political Science has organized its second quarterly symposium entitled “The intellectual and strategic developments in the region and their implications for Iraq”. The lecturers discussed several research papers focused on the most prominent developments in the Middle East region and its impact on Iraq politically, intellectually and socially, including the normalization of some Arab countries with the Zionist entity and the resumption of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear deal, as well as discussing intellectual and value variables and their impact on the industry of chaos and instability in the region while putting forward ways to face the negative repercussions on Iraq. This event was attended by the heads of the scientific branches and a number of faculty members.
