The Pharmaceutical Branch at the College of Pharmacy has organized a training workshop entitled (Principles and Applications of Ultraviolet Radiation in Pharmaceutical Examinations) with the participation of the Technical Affairs Department at the Ministry of Health and that was represented by the pharmacist Samer Hassoun Aziz.
The workshop aims to explain and clarify the principles of the use of Ultraviolet that is a form of electromagnetic radiation and its use in conducting basic examinations in the design and examination of pharmaceutical preparations and compositions and the main steps in calibration of UV testing devices, which are one of the most important devices used in pharmaceutical research. The participants in this event learned the most important modern scientific methods used at present in the design and examination of pharmaceutical preparations and compositions and how to conduct them in the right scientific way.
