The Nursing Basics Branch, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Nursing, has organized an online workshop entitled “SPSS statistics software” via the Google Meet service in the presence of a number of faculty members and students of undergraduate and postgraduate studies). The workshop was presented by a group of faculty members, namely the lecturer Dr. Haider Mohammed Majid, the lecturer Dr. Alaa Jawad Kazim and the lecturer Dr. Ahmed Fleih Hassan.
The workshop aimed to introduce students to how to use the statistical package program for social sciences and how to import data from the Excel file and SPSS statistical software suite and to learn about mathematical functions and how graphs can be created in this software. The workshop dealt with a detailed presentation on the program and the most important statistical functions and how to extract repetitions and percentages, the computational medium and standard deviation, chi-square and how to make data graphs and charts in graduation researches and master’s theses.
