The Biological Research Unit at the College of Science at the University of Baghdad held a virtual workshop entitled “Performance assessment forms for the members of research units for the academic year (2020-2021)” with the participation of a number of researchers working at some research centers inside and outside the university.
The workshop aimed to introduce the instructions of the performance evaluation file to members of the units and research centers, and to clarify the instructions of the calendar file in order to identify the obstacles faced by the members and ways to solve these obstacles and address them in the correct administrative and scientific ways. The lecturers tried to highlight the obstacles in the process of scientific publication and scientific activities and the way of documenting them with a review of the forms of the academic evaluation for researchers working for full or part time at research centers and units, along with staff members and craftsmen, for the purpose of upgrading the level of scientific sobriety, in addition to adopting the mechanism of using an electronic evaluation system to know the all scientific and research activities, other assignments, strengths and penalties, as well as their personal skills.
