The Psychological Guidance and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Law has organized a symposium entitled “The dangers of the spread of drug abuse and ways to combat” via the Google Meet service. The lecturers addressed several topics, including the definition of drugs, their types and the risks of their spread in community, and ways to reduce and combat them, especially among young people.
The seminar came up with several recommendations, including the need for university professors and institutes and their students to contribute to raising awareness among school students about the dangers of the spread of drugs and the reasons for their spread and how to reduce them, as well as the introduction of educational material or giving lectures to students on the dangers and ways of drug use, adding the need for clerics and tribal elders to contribute to reducing this phenomenon.
