Prof. Dr. Abdullah Sabbar Abboud, the dean of the college of arts at the University of Baghdad, has lately met with the director of the DNA Center at Al-Nahrain University, Assist. Prof. Dr. Thiaa Shamikh.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss the possibility of holding training workshops specialized in advanced e-education, as well as the possibility of coordination in organizing scientific events with the German Cultural Exchange Authority (Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst e. V. (DAAD)) with the University of Regensburg in Bavaria, that adopts a draft memorandum of cooperation among various Iraqi universities, including the University of Baghdad and Al-Nahrain University for the sake of activating teaching activities and digital research in the field of historical sciences. The meeting included the participation of Assist. Prof. Dr. Hussein Thamer from the Laser Center and Assist. Prof. Dr. Jawad al-Musawi from the DNA Center, as well as Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Natiq Ibrahim, head of the department of history and Prof. Dr. Laith Shaker, a faculty member from the same department.
