A delegation from the College of Engineering at the University of Tehran has made an official visit to its counterpart at the University of Baghdad and was received by the Assistant rector for administrative affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Sarmad Fouad Jaber, the dean of the college Prof. Dr. Saba Jabbar Neima and her assistant for administrative affairs.
The delegation visited a number of scientific departments, including the Water Resources Engineering Department to keep abreast of the number of laboratories there, namely the Water Quality Testing Laboratory and the Soil Physics Laboratory, where the two sides exchanges extensive talks regarding some devices used by professors and students when conducting their research and experiments. The two parties hoped that this visit will be the seed of joint cooperation between the two universities in academic issues.
