The Chairman of the Education Committee of the Iraqi Parliament, Prof. Dr. Hazam al-Khayat has visited recently the college of science to inspect the progress of the teaching process and its effect of the academic knowledge attained by the undergraduate and postgraduate students.
He was received by the dean of the college Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim al-Qazzaz and his assistants for scientific, administrative and student affairs, heads of departments and directors of research units, where Dr. Abdul al-Qazzaz asserted that this visit will have a good echo and a great impact on the faculty members, students and staff, because of its great role in supporting the Iraqi Parliament as a legislative authority. This meeting was attended by the president of Najaf Service Association Mr. Hussein Abdullah al-Assadi, also the guest was honored with the shield of the college, besides discussing many topics related to the educational career of the college and the possibilities of supporting its endeavors for creating jobs for its graduates.
