Dr. Kalthoom Abd Aoun, the head of the kindergarten department and Dr. Raghad Shakib Rashid are selected to participate in the preparation for the launch of the National Strategy for Early Childhood Development in Iraq (2022-2031) after receiving an invitation from the High Committee for the Development of Education in Iraq of the Prime Minister’s Office.
They were also selected as members of the Technical Committee supporting the high committee in charge of preparing the national strategic draft for the development of early childhood in the country by presenting their visions in alignment with the short and long term objectives and the role of institutions and ministries in supporting its quest to reach at the desired goals, especially that concerned with the problems of education, health and poverty. It is noteworthy that the Higher Committee for Education Development in Iraq (HCED), chaired by His Excellency the Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, works in collaboration with UNICEF and a number of ministries concerned with human development, such as the ministries of higher education and scientific research, education, health, culture, labor and social affairs.
