The college of physical education and sports sciences at the University of Baghdad witnessed the conclusion of the Iraqi University Basketball Championship with the final match between the university’s team and that of the University of Qadisiyah, in the presence of the rector, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, and a great gathering of undergraduate students.
At the end of the tournament, the University of Baghdad won in this match (87-66), so medals and trophies were distributed for the first three places and for the refereeing staff, as well as the dean of the college of physical education, the director of the Student Activities Department amid the cheers of students and fans. We congratulate the University of Baghdad for this overwhelming victory, added to its record of scientific, sports and research achievements.
