The rector of the University of Baghdad launches new reconstruction campaign

Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has instructed to launch a campaign to reconstruct the building (No.5) at Al-Salam Student Complex to be ready to receive students in the next academic year, thus increasing the capacity of student complexes under the supervision of the director of dormitories, Prof. Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan. It is noteworthy that the building was neglected until it went out of service several years ago, so the capacity of the student departments has decreased by 200 provincial students who are studying at the University of Baghdad, as well as renting buildings of the private sector at a higher cost to be used by students annually instead of the reconstruction of government buildings.
