The college of pharmacy at the University of Baghdad has organized its 10th International Scientific Conference in the presence of the assistant rector for scientific affairs, Prof. Dr. Marwan Abdul Hamid Ashour, and a number of academic figures. The conference addressed several topics, including pharmaceutical education and the basis of curriculum modernization at the faculties of pharmacy and the strategic development of higher education and training, as well as the role of the Syndicate of Iraqi Pharmacists, the developments in the Iraqi arena and the role of pharmacists in protecting the health of community. It is worth mentioning that 56 research papers were presented at this conference, including different pharmaceutical specialties, namely the pharmaceutical chemistry, with the participation of 9 researchers from different countries including the United States, Hungary, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Lebanon.
