The College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences of the University of Baghdad has organized a training workshop entitled “The phenomenon of drug addiction and its effects on community” delivered by the director of the department of student affairs & undergraduate studies Dr. Muthanna Falhi Hammoud in the presence of a number of professors and students of the college. The workshop aimed to spread awareness against the phenomenon of drug addiction to fight this phenomenon, which is currently one of the most serious phenomena to which young people are exposed. The lecturers recommended holding such event in order to demonstrate their risks and keeping our generations from engaging in this behavior, as well as developing health and cultural awareness in the country in this regard.
