The University of Baghdad gets the first place in the Iraqi University Basketball Championship

In the presence of the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, the Iraqi UniversitY Basketball Championship was initiated at the inner hall of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences where the team of the University of Baghdad beat his counterpart of the University of Kirkuk (85:47). Then a match was going on between the teams of the University of Al-Qadisiyah and the University of Basra, ending with the victory of the University of Al-Qadisiyah (78:46), that was attended by the assistant rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Sarmad Fouad Jaber and the dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf.
