The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Women held a virtual scientific symposium entitled (Linguistic theory in the characteristics and procedures of Arab heritage) via the Google Meet service where a number of research papers were presented in two sessions.

The scientific workshop reached at several recommendations, including the need to read the linguistic heritage with a closer analytical vision, according to the modern theories in language, reassessing the linguistic heritage at its various levels, the theory of the general framework of those levels, identifying readings of linguistic theory, trying to simulate its visions, discussing its content, rooting what can be rooted in what is serious about Arab thought and linking the Arab heritage to the corresponding modern linguistic theories, and finding points of convergence and similarity.
