The Department of Arabic language at the College of Islamic Sciences held an educational course entitled (Scientific Research Projects: Topics, Curricula and Methodologies) that was presented by the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Neima Dahsh Farhan. The course aimed to enlighten students’ minds on some forgotten or neglected scientific research fields, as well as to focusing on important topics that suit the labor market and the needs of our community.
The course came up with recommendations including focusing on following important scientific and literary approaches in the formulation of titles, writing research, letters and frameworks, attention to the issues of the linguistic and literary society and finding effective solutions to its problems, and this is through the selection of appropriate titles for their research projects, focusing on the topics and language phenomena required by the labor market, paying attention to what is new and effective in the global language arena, thinking seriously to capture modern topics of interest, attention to language topics such as the technology of e-learning, computerization and digitization of Arabic language and identity, language & political discourse.
