The college of fine arts has participated in the meeting of the High Committee for the development of the Liberation Square and Freedom Monument in Baghdad, that was presided over by His Excellency the Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi for overseeing the development of these two cultural landmarks, stressing their historical importance and directed to have a major and active role in the process of rehabilitation in an artistic and aesthetic way. The deanship of the college also expressed its willingness to participate to overcome all obstacles in this quest and providing all support for undertaking this project in coordination with its technical and scientific capabilities.
