Workshop on al-Fashaga crisis and its impact on Sudanese-Ethiopian relations

The Department of Crisis Study at the Center for Strategic and International Studies has organized a workshop entitled (Al-Fashaga crisis and its impact on the Sudanese-Ethiopian relations) that was headed by Prof. Dr. Muna Hussein Obeid who talked about the history of that conflict between the two countries the region of Fashaga, which Ethiopia has dominated over since the 1950s and tried to change its demography. The lecturer then reviewed Sudan’s attempts in the last era to assert its dominance over this border area and the circumstances surrounding this dispute.
