Prof. Dr. Haidar Zamil al-Musawi, a faculty member from the department of Arabic language at the College of Islamic Sciences and chairman of the Committee for Psychological and Educational Guidance, was elected as vice president of the administrative department of the Association for Educational & Psychological Studies and Dr. Haidar Zamil as his deputy in the fourth session of this association.

It is noteworthy that this association has emerged as a sober independent non-profit scientific body, founded by the efforts of some professors from various Iraqi universities in 2012, and is authorized by the Supreme Council of Scientific Societies of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and a member of an executive body in the Arab Union of Psychological Science in 2016, along with Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Algeria and Palestine, where it has been expanding to accommodate a large number of specialists, and it has sought to promote educational and psychological studies, resulting in issuing the Nasaq Journal in 2014 that is a well-established scientific journal dedicated for publishing sober academic research submitted by scholars from inside and outside Iraq.
