Assist. Prof. Dr. Safaa Abdullah Burhan, a faculty member from the department of Arabic language at the college of Islamic sciences delivered a lecture on “Social education in the perspective of Imam Ali bin Mohammed al-Hadi (PBUH)” at Al-Jawadin Library Cultural Council of the Holy Kadhimiya Threshold.
The lecturer pointed to the concept of social education, as approved by sociologists and education, and the practical applications taken by Imam Ali bin Mohammed al-Hadi (PBUH) when instilling the basics of social education taken from the Holy Quran and the prophetic Sunnah and the words of the people of the house (peace be upon them), that affected a number of followers of the Abbasid government according to what is the achievement of education within the community of Samarra during his age that can be considered as a model of Islamic education to be adopted by all Muslims.
